Sure, you might not have thought about the style of a kimono in the past few years. But as summer sets in and temperatures rise all over the world, it seems that classic fashion pieces like kimonos are making a comeback. And if you’re looking for some summer apparel to hold on to your style, this is just the thing!
It’s still a little early for summer, but we have already seen what the celebrities are wearing and put together an informal style guide.
Kimonos are great for kids of all ages. They are pretty and comfortable. I like how they are roomy on me and don’t make me feel too hot in the summertime. Then again, I am only nine years old so I don’t have as much of a problem with feeling too hot in the summer. But my mom does! She usually wears a kimono in the summertime because she doesn’t want to get overheated, so she always thinks of ways to cool off without turning on the air conditioner.
The problem with the summertime is that it is often extremely hot. So a lot of people are wearing variety of clothing styles especially in places like California or Washington. However, my friend’s mom wears her kimono. She says she likes how nice it is and she feels cool when she wears it. She says it makes her feel as if she is in a wind tunnel and she gets cool air blowing at her. She doesn’t have to worry about melting or feeling too hot when she wears it. When I wear my kimono, I feel much cooler than when I don’t have it on. My mom likes to wear a kimono, but she only wears one in the house because she thinks it looks better and more elegant.
Kimonos are cool to wear for all ages! No matter what age you are, you can still use them! You just have to style it differently depending on your age. Kimonos are great whether you are four or ninety-four years old. There are different styles to choose from depending on your needs and preferences.
My friend’s mom wore a kimono for a while, but she only uses it in the house. Because her children kept asking her for a turn to wear one, she gave them one to try on. She decided to give them all a kimono for summertime fun and games.
